Chef Joseph Pacella was born and raised in Mars, Pennsylvania. Joe Earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI in 1997. Chef Joe has gained extensive experience over the last 18 years, getting his start from Grandma Pacella at the age of 4 years old.
Chef Joseph Pacella had the pleasure to work under Chef Doug Davis at Chartiers Country Club as the Banquet Chef for four years. Chef Joe has worked his way up from line cook to Sous Chef with Bravo over the course of four years. Since then, Chef Joseph Pacella has been a Sous Chef here at SiBA Cucina for the last three years!
In Chef Joe's free time, he enjoys working on his muscle car, a 1973 Chevy Nova SS. If you see Joe driving by, give him a wave! |

Born in Pittsburgh and raised in many diverse areas of the United States, Chef Matthew Sasala attended SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY New Paltz with a major in Sociology. Realizing his love for food, Chef Matthew Sasala is a self taught chef, who gained experience working under Chef Larry Chu of the Gilded Otter Brewing Co. and Chef Tom Barthel (formerly of Top of the Triange).
Over the years, Chef Matthew enhanced his culinary experience working as Chef De Cuisine at Conca D'oro Seafood in New Paltz, NY; Sous Chef at Gilded Otter Brewing Co, New Paltz NY; Sous Chef and then Head Chef at Magoo's Bar and Bistro, Gourmet Chef with Giant Eagle Corporation and has presently found a home with us here at SiBA Cucina!
Sous Chef Matthew Sasala heads the tapas creations for our Tour of the World Wine Tastings and Craft Beer Tastings, both held monthly here at our restaurant. |
